Dinner, June 25

Ugh.

Speechwriting class in D.C. tonight at 6 p.m., with plans to meet a friend afterward for a drink. So I figured I should eat more than the Gala apple I had in my purse.

As I cruised New York Ave. into the city, I decided to stop at Wendy's for dinner. I was -that- hungry, and frightened at the prospect of waiting til 11:30, when I'd get home, to eat. So I ordered a plain junior cheeseburger, a small fry, and a small Coke. The burger was sooo delicious, a patty of hot greasy deliciousness topped with perfectly melted cheese. How is heaven only $1.49? I couldn't eat more than a few fries, though.

And this little stop made me a few minutes late to class, but I did score a on-street parking spot, sparing me the extra time it would take to get into the garage. Of course, now I'm feeling disgusting and my stomach gurgled loudly through class. Must Eat Vegetables Tomorrow.
